It is pure, unwavering, and boundless. Scripture reminds us in 1 John 4:8, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” His love is not merely an emotion or a fleeting feeling; it is the very essence of His being and the foundation of His relationship with us. As recipients of such divine love, we are called to reflect it in our lives by walking in love every day.

God’s Love: The Anchor of Our Souls
God’s love is unconditional. It is not based on our actions, achievements, or worthiness. Romans 5:8 tells us, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This profound truth reveals that God’s love is proactive and sacrificial. He loved us at our lowest and made the ultimate sacrifice to bring us closer to Him.

Understanding and embracing God’s love can transform our lives. It provides security in times of fear, hope in moments of despair, and joy in the midst of trials. When we grasp how deeply we are loved, we can walk through life with confidence, knowing that nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39).

Walking in Love: A Call to Action
As children of God, we are not only recipients of His love but also conduits of it. Ephesians 5:2 instructs us, “Walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” To walk in love means to embody the love of Christ in our interactions, choices, and attitudes.

Walking in love requires us to:

Forgive Freely: Just as God has forgiven us, we are called to forgive others. Forgiveness breaks the chains of bitterness and allows love to flow freely.

Serve Selflessly: Jesus set the ultimate example of servanthood. When we serve others without expecting anything in return, we reflect God’s love.

Speak Kindly: Our words have the power to build up or tear down. Choosing kind and uplifting words demonstrates love and compassion.

Give Generously: Love is expressed through giving—not just material things, but also our time, attention, and care.

Extend Grace: Just as we have received grace, we must extend it to others, recognizing that everyone is on their own journey.

The Ripple Effect of Walking in Love
When we choose to walk in love, we become living testimonies of God’s character. Our actions have the power to inspire and transform those around us. Love has a ripple effect—when we show love to one person, it can spark a chain reaction that impacts families, communities, and even the world.

Jesus summed up the importance of love in Matthew 22:37-39: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” These two commandments encapsulate the heart of our faith and the essence of walking in love.

Conclusion
God’s love is a gift that transforms us from the inside out. When we embrace His love and walk in it, we fulfill our highest calling and reflect His glory to the world. Let’s commit to walking in love daily, forgiving, serving, and giving generously as we allow God’s love to shine through us. In doing so, we become beacons of hope and agents of change, demonstrating that love truly is the greatest force of all.

The reaction to this news has caused many to separate and go to war with each other, but this should not be the case amongst Christians.

The sacrificing of babies is not a new or modern concept. You can trace the practice of sacrificing babies all over the Old Testament, and just in case you did not know, God was not and is still not pleased about this practice.

An ambassador does not have the luxury of inserting their opinion into matters as they feel and see fit. No, they are responsible only for representing the opinion of the government they are appointed. Now, as an ambassador of God and His kingdom, no matter how you may feel about the reversal of this law, we have a sacred responsibility to stand with God and His Word. We represent His kingdom.

Here is something you may want to consider. In Jeremiah 29:11, God's word states, "I know the thoughts and plans I have for you." That means every person conceived on this earth has the potential to be and do something great. When the decision is made to abort a child, the decision is also made to abort the potential in that child. I often think about how often God sent an answer to a prayer that would solve a problem on the earth, and that answer was sent back to heaven because a decision to abort a child was made.

As God's people, it is time to stand with Him. Whether male or female, young or old, you are called to be light and salt to the world. God has drawn a clear line in the sand. If you end up standing on the side against God, how will you justify your decision when asked on judgement day?

Final Signs

It's the Last Days!

I will be the first to admit that things have been tough emotionally, mentally, and physically for many over the past three years. Many have lost close friends and loved ones through COVID, and then there was the Omicron variant. It feels like one overwhelming event after another. All the uncertainty can leave you feeling stressed and anxious. But thanks be to God that who always causes us to triumph! We are not hopeless and alone. In fact, Jesus warned us of the times that we now live in. Matthew 24:6 says, “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed….”

We are commanded not to live in fear. We have no reason to fear. We are on the winning side. And the bible says that God has not appointed us unto wrath. “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10. Now, that is great news! So, when you hear people say, Christians will suffer through the tribulation period the bible speaks of disregard it. That is not what the word teaches at all. God has not appointed us unto wrath unless you are planning to miss the rapture and staying that is!

Earlier this year, I heard a powerful message that has helped me keep things in perspective. The speaker said, “Make sure you keep the main thing the main thing.” So, in thinking about that statement, the main thing is that you are prepared to meet Christ. Are you ready, and have you shared Christ with your loved ones, your friends, and anybody else you can think of so that they are prepared? Indeed, that is the main thing.
