Believers cannot succeed in life through their own might or power, but only through the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit, who is described as the anointing of God active in the earth today. Using the imagery of a golden lampstand, flowing oil, and connected pipes from Zechariah 4, the sermon illustrates how the anointing flows from the Father through Jesus Christ to church leadership and then to every member of the body of Christ.
