Our Story

Works of Faith Ministries was founded on September 11, 2001 by Pastor’s Marlon and Quantrel Brown. Though it was the most tragic day in our nation's history, it was also a glorious birthing of ministry.  Our first service was held at the Blue Hills Community Center in Kansas City, Missouri and the rest is history.    

Be the Blessing is the outreach ministry of Works of Faith Ministries.  Be the Blessing outreach ministry is designed to demonstrate the compassion and love of our Lord Jesus Christ through giving and community service.  We are blessed to be a blessing and it is our mission to bless our community.   

Works of Faith Ministries endeavors to be a blessing to the Kansas City Metropolitan area.  It is our goal to provide a place of love, safety and empowerment to our neighbors and our community.  Works of Faith Ministries will be a place of empowerment and we will will accomplish our destiny.
